Director, Land Administration

Surv. Geoffrey Osafo-Osei Jnr is a Valuation and Estate Surveyor by profession. He holds MSc Real Estate Development and Investment from the University of Greenwich, UK and a EMBA from GIMPA.  In addition, he holds a BSc in land Economy and a LLB from the KNUST and GIMPA respectively. He is currently a fellow of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors.

Surv. Osafo-Osei has risen through the ranks and is currently the Director of Land Administration at the Head Office. He is responsible for Estates, Legal, and Welfare issues among others. Prior to his current appointment he served as the Regional Stool Lands Officer (RSLO) for the Eastern and the then Brong-Ahafo Regions for a cumulative period of 16 years. This makes him the longest serving RSLO in the office as at now. He has over 24 years’ experience in Land Administration and Management. He served as the Regional LAP Coordinator for the Eastern Region during LAP I and LAP II.

Under his watch over 15 Customary Lands Secretariats were established in the Eastern, Bono, Bono East, Ahafo and Upper West Regions of Ghana. He has passion for his work and the welfare of staff. He believes in fairness. He spearheaded the operations of the office in the now Oti region. Under his watch over eight District Offices to bring stool lands operations to the door step of the people.

His interest includes Alternative Dispute Resolution, Legal education, real estate development and investment, land administration and management, and monitoring and evaluation among others. He is a kind hearted person, very confident and persuasive in his presentations.

Geoffrey is a member of the Church of Pentecost and worships at the James McKeown Worship Centre, Spintex Road. He is a member of Rotary Club of Sunyani East. He is married with three sons and a daughter.  He believes in team work. He, thus, believes in the team that won and not the one who scored the goal. He has the patience and the heart to support Arsenal in the EPL and Accra Hearts of Oaks in the domestic league.
