Mr. Joseph Ansah is the Director of Finance at the Office of the Administrator of Stool Lands and has over 20 years working experience in the Ghana Civil Service.

He entered Institute of Accountancy Studies in 1978 where he obtained his RSA Stage I and III and also General Certificates of Education O’ level and A’ level and proceeded to the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana. He undertook his National Service at The Ghana Oil Company Ltd, At Osu Goil Service Station and continued serving at the Goil Station until he joined the Civil Service in 2001.

His first posting was to the Office of the President at the Castle as Senior Accountant and rose through the rank to his current position – Asst. Controller &  Accountant General. He worked at the Accounts Department until he was posted to Ministry of Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs in January 2015 as Head of Accounts.

He was later posted to Ministry of Defence in July 2015 as Head of Treasury. Again Joseph Ansah was posted to Ministry of Special Development Initiatives on January 2018 as the Head of Accounts at the Castle, Osu where he work till posted to OASL in September, 2021.

He graduated as a Chartered Accountant in May, 2011 with a Professional Certificate. He had his Executive Masters in Public Administration, Finance Option at the University of Ghana, Business School.

He is married to Ruby Ansah with four daughters and two sons.

Mr. Ansah is a Christian who fellowship at In Him Is Life Church International and he is a member of Full Gospel Business men Fellowship International where he is a President at motorway Chapter of the fellowship.
