The Western North Regional office held its 2025 Awards ceremony at Queen Elizabeth Hotel, Sefwi Wiawso. The ceremony was attended by Regional Management, Regional Staff, District revenue and National Service Personnel. The ceremony served as a platform to reward hardworking staff who excelled in their line of duty and most importantly to engender unity and oneness in executing our mandate as a revenue generation department. In all, eight (8) staff received awards in various categories.
Need to celebrate our talent
In his welcome address, Surv.ir. Tom Wilberforce Archer, the Western North Regional Stool Lands officer, emphasized on the need to celebrate our talent, achievement and excellence as a revenue mobilization department poised to attain excellent customary land administration for national development. He added that as a revenue mobilization institution, every inch forward motivates us and help us galvanize all available resources to push even further and higher and most importantly, such celebrations keeps the team spirit up. Detailing the nature of the awards, he explained that the four (4) categories included 2025 Best Revenue Staff, Best District, Best National Service Personnel and Best Consistent revenue Staff.
Special Significance
In connection with the Best District category, Enchi District won the category, taking home a number of awards while Mr. Mike Aidoo, Suaman District, took the best Consistent Revenue Collector. Mr. Ngissah Daniel of Enhi District tops again in the Best Revenue Staff category while Mr. Anin Micheal- Enchi District and Mr. Nkuah Charles- Bia West District took the first and second runner positions respectively. They took home a number of awards respectively together with citations.
Much work Done
In his concluding remarks, Surv. ir. Tom W. Archer commended all my staff for their dedication and selfless duty to the Office and to a far extent our beloved country. “I wish to encourage my honourable award winners to enjoy this feat but not get caught up in an endless celebration and become complacent but continue to press on to even greater heights. To those who could not win any award today, more opportunities abound in the future for you to inscribe your names in the annals of the Western North Region of the Office” he remarked.
